SkanWell Management LLC supports website administration and other non-clinical services. Skan Wellness Medical PLLC provides professional medical services through appropriately licensed clinicians. The management company does not practice medicine or control independent clinical judgment.

Information, emergencies & clinical care

This website provides general educational information, not individualized medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not delay professional care because of website content. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Website forms, scheduling tools, chat, email and social accounts are not emergency services. Viewing this website, submitting an inquiry or requesting an appointment does not by itself establish a patient-provider relationship.

Evaluation, availability & results

Services, medications, devices and products require individual assessment when applicable. An appointment does not guarantee eligibility, a prescription or treatment. Care may require an examination, laboratory testing, consent, records, monitoring or referral. Availability and individual results vary. Website images may be illustrative; an image does not promise a particular outcome.

Appointments & online tools

Scheduling, intake, payments and patient communications may use PatientNow or other service providers. Additional platform terms and privacy notices may apply. Provide accurate information and protect any account credentials. An appointment is not guaranteed until confirmed. Automated chat or receptionist responses may help with administrative questions; they do not replace clinical evaluation or emergency care.

Cancellations & missed appointments

Provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, may incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled appointment price. Any applicable fee is not payment toward a future service.

Prices, packages & memberships

Prices, availability, financing and offers may change. Confirm costs and applicable written terms before purchase. Packages, promotional offers, SkanWell Bank memberships, products and clinical programs may have separate eligibility, expiration, cancellation and return terms. Bank credit is limited to eligible services and products; it does not automatically cover every clinical program. Third-party financing is governed by the lender’s terms and approval requirements. These website terms do not replace a signed service or membership agreement.

Communications & privacy

Do not send urgent requests or sensitive health information through general contact forms or ordinary email. Messages may not be reviewed immediately. Marketing choices are separate from clinical consent. Website information practices appear in our Privacy Policy; applicable protected health information is addressed in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Content ownership & permitted use

Text, design, logos, photos, videos and other website materials are owned by or licensed to SkanWell. You may view and print materials for personal, noncommercial use. Other reproduction, modification, distribution or commercial use requires permission unless otherwise allowed by law. Third-party trademarks remain their owners’ property.

Acceptable use

Do not use the website unlawfully, impersonate others, submit misleading information, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access or disrupt its operation. Automated copying or scraping without permission is prohibited except where permitted by law.

Third-party services

Links and embedded services may take you to platforms operated by others, including booking, social media and financing providers. We do not control their content, availability or privacy practices. Review their terms before using them. A link alone is not an endorsement.

Website disclaimers & liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided as available without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkanWell and its owners, workforce and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from website use. These provisions concern website use and do not waive patient rights, professional duties or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify SkanWell against claims, losses and expenses arising from your unlawful website use, violation of these terms or infringement of another person’s rights. This does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to you.

Changes, governing law & remaining provisions

We may revise these terms and post the updated version with a revised date. Continued use following posting constitutes acceptance to the extent allowed by law. New York law governs, without its conflict-of-law rules; disputes belong in a New York court with appropriate jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These terms and referenced policies govern website use; separate clinical and purchase agreements govern the corresponding services.
